I came across this old advert and loved the phrase “Fair land of enchanting beauty “. For those of us who lead an urban life, this feels magical.
This Bank Holiday
weekend in England, the sun is shining, the trees are covered in luscious green again and colourful flowers are popping up everywhere. Next weekend, we will have the coronation of King Charles III and there is a sense of permanence, which feels quite reassuring in times of fast and chaotic changes. It seems like we can forget the ugliness of this world and just enjoy Nature and traditions. I look forward to go to Buckingham Palace and see our king at the balcony.
Later today, I will cut some bluebells and lilac from my garden, mow the lawn and sit in the garden for a bit. I intend to do some creative journaling as well. This time is for nourishing myself, free and express my natural self and imagine that I live in a fair land of enchanting beauty.
What does it look like for you to immerse yourself in enchanting beauty? What do you feel pulled to do this season? How can you nourish your soul?
“Nourishing yourself in a way that helps you blossom in the direction you want to go is attainable, and
you are worth the effort.”
