As many of us are coming back home or going back to work, it is essential to make comfort and pleasure a priority. We can still enjoy the sunshine and beautiful flowers outside and once inside, we can create moments of pleasure and a safe and comfortable sanctuary.

• Add softness to your world. When I retreat into my home, I want to curl up, snuggle, nestle. I need my fairy lights, candles, cushions and throw blankets. Make your favourite spot in your home even more comfortable and soft to create a the feeling that your home is hugging you safely. 
   
• Include simple pleasures in your daily life. Choose a lovely scented shower gel, buy a punnet of raspberries/blackberries/favourite fruit, read a book even for five minutes, do something that puts a smile on your face. Make a list of simple pleasures and pick one (or more) for each day of this week. Keep the list in view so you never go to bed without having gifted yourself a treat.
